DESCRIPTION:The Command and Staff College – Tanzania is hosting an ACoC twentieth Chief Instructors Workshop that started on 27 July 2026 and is expected to end on 31 July.  The Workshop has brought together delegates  from 12 African Command and Staff Colleges across the continent.  Carrying the theme; “Enhancing Faculty Competence and Institutional Capacity in African Command and Staff Colleges”\, the workshop served as preparation for the forthcoming ACoC conference due November this year\, in Arusha. On his opening remarks\, the ACoC Chairperson Maj Gen Stephen Justice Mnkande who is also the Commandant Command and Staff College – Tanzania\, urged the delegates engage the workshop openly\, share candid insights\, and respect the diversity of perspectives that would enrich the various deliberations. He expected the discussions be constructive\, focused\, and directed towards practical\, implementable outcomes. He further pointed out that the presence of delegates from across our regions and beyond would underscore the importance placed on robust dialogue\, shared learning\, and collective professional growth. \n
