The Nineteenth ACoC Chief Instructors workshop

The Command and Staff College – Tanzania is hosting a 19th ACoC Chief Instructors Workshop that started on 27 July 2026 and is expected to end on 31 July. Delegates from 12 Command and Staff Colleges across the continent are meeting in Arusha to deliberate on the various matters as part of the preparation for the forthcoming African Conference of Commandants due in November this year. The Chairperson, Maj Gen Stephen Justice Mnkande, on his opening address highlighted to the delegates about expected outcomes of the workshop. He pointed out that the ACoC expected the discussions be constructive, focused and be directed toward practical implementable outcomes. He insisted that only then could the value of the workshop be realised.
